(click on name to contact).Chess & Scrabble meet on 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, and Chess only meets on the 5th Thursday when there is one. We meet from 2pm to 4pm in Heaton Moor.
Chess players of any ability are accepted, including beginners, but we have no Grand Master, so there is no need to be terrified! We play friendly chess and talk about the games we play to help each other to understand the game and improve our standard... and have fun.
Scrabble players of almost any ability are welcome. We are not (very) competitive, but do expect that you already know the basics of how to play.
